Andrew Pilskalns founded Castle Rock Geotechnical Engineering Inc. in 2004 after working with a number of regional engineering firms and construction companies combining for 25 years. Andy received his B.S. (1993) in civil and geotechnical engineering from Montana State University in Bozeman Montana. Andy has extensive geotechnical and civil engineering experience working in the Rocky Mountain States and is licensed engineer in Montana, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, North Dakota and Hawaii. This comprehensive and in-depth construction and engineering background is used to prepare practical, efficient geotechnical designs.
Andy oversees all drilling and excavation activities, ensuring timely scheduling of field work, sampling and testing. He also performs reconnaissance, field investigations, site evaluations, construction observations, photographic logs, and reports. With his spare time Andy shares with his wife and seven children.
